The state of Colorado requires that all students in the public school system be compliant with state required vaccinations. This also includes those students who are remote/virtual and enrolled in RE#ONE pathways. Legally students are not allowed to be in school if their vaccinations are not compliant. Compliant means that the student's vaccinations are completed and compliant in our system, an exemption form is signed and turned in or there is a plan in process (the student has a doctor appointment to receive the vaccination). The school will need a note from the doctor's office stating they will be receiving the vaccination on "this date". The health assistant will then follow up after that date. This year the exclusion date for non-compliant student vaccinations is October 30th. Your child will not be allowed to come to school on or after October 30th if they are not compliant with their vaccinations. If you are unsure about your child's vaccination status, please reach out to the health office your child's school and they can assist you. *New Day for Community Zoom* Beginning this week our Zoom Community Meetings will be held on Tuesdays. Tune in Tomorrow, August 25, at 4:00 p.m. to hear next steps and ask Shila your questions.

Preschool applications are still being accepted for the 2020-2021 school year. We accept children ages 3-5, children must be 3 by July 1st of the current year. You may pick-up an application at our 301 Hagen St. location or access it here. Once your child’s application has been processed you will be contacted to let you know if your child has been accepted into our preschool program. Upon acceptance you will be asked to fill out a registration packet and provide us with a current birth certificate and a current immunization record. Applications will not be accepted after August 28th. Registration information must be received no later than September 3rd for enrollment in the fall semester. ATTENTION PRESCHOOL GRADUATES: KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN: Parents, you are encouraged to submit your child's registration any time at Ayres Elementary or Caliche Elementary. Summer office hours at Ayres are 8:00am-3:00pm until August 7, Monday-Friday. Starting August 10, Ayres office hours are 7:15am-4:15pm. Ayres will be closed Wednesday, August 12 for district meetings, Caliche will be closed Wednesday August 12 in the afternoon for district meetings.
