The RE-1 Valley Board of Education announces the resignation of Superintendent Dr. Martin Foster, effective May 5, 2025, at 4 pm. Brenda Kloberdanz, Assistant Superintendent, will assume the duties of the superintendent on an interim basis until July 1, 2025. Mr. Dustin Hunt, recently selected by the board of education, will assume his position as superintendent on July 1, 2025.
The RE-1 Valley Board of Education expresses its appreciation for Dr. Foster’s dedicated service and leadership. “Dr. Foster has made a lasting impact on our schools and our community,” said Steve Shinn, Board President. “We thank him for his commitment to educational excellence and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
