School Closures and Delayed Start
When weather conditions are deemed too hazardous for students and/or staff to travel to their schools, official notification of school closings will be relayed to parents, students, and school personnel as soon as possible and hopefully prior to school buses leaving on their routes. Our top priority is the safety of our students and staff.

2-Hour Delayed Start Information and Schedule
Delayed school starts are a common practice in adverse weather conditions. They improve safety by providing additional time for road crews to clear streets, for storms to subside, and for students and staff to travel safely to school.
During a 2-hour delayed start:
Breakfast will not be served at any school; however, lunches will be served according to the regular daily schedule at each school.
Morning bus routes will run, however, pick-up times for students will be approximately two hours later than the normal pick-up time for all the morning bus routes.
Dismissal times and afternoon bus routes will be at their regular scheduled times.
